Lakeside Park, North Somercotes, Near Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 7RB, 0845-4565268

No sooner had we pitched up than who should pay a visit, than David "The Duke" Dickinson. "Get that barbeque lit, Phil!" he quipped. He couldn't believe what a bargain it was. "It's a smasher, a real bobby dazzler, and at only £12 from Wilko's, it's as cheap as chips."
Lucky for him, we had brought the inner tent, so he was able to stay a night in the awning ready to make an early start bargain hunting at Ingoldmell's market.

Imagine our surprise when Christina Aguilera dropped by, or Christina "Aquarolla" as we called her by the end of her two day stay, owing to the endless cups of tea she drank causing us to be for ever filling up the water. She certainly wasn't 'Dirty' and thought that the fully tiled toilets and showers at Lakeside Park were 'Beautiful.' She was so impressed with the piped in music in the shower and toilet facilities and you could often hear her singing along with the tunes of "Lincs FM." She did comment, however, that the touring pitches on the main touring field were a little cramped together, and that when she next brings her own tourer she would plump for the more spacious super pitches.
Hot on Christina's heels was little Kylie Monogue. Being a keen gardener she was in raptures in this well kept site, marveling at the topiary and water features. She even did a spot of fishing in the sites lake, but we refused to keep her maggots in our caravan fridge so she had to keep them under the caravan's wheel arch. Sorry Kylie!

Next to pay a call was Liza Minelli

and her new hubby David Gest. Here as you can see Liza was amazed at the wonderful children's play area. They didn't require accommodation in the awning for the night as they own a static caravan at Sutton Springs, Sutton on Sea, near Mablethorpe. However, after visiting the onsite fish and chip shop, where Liza was so impressed that the chips were cooked in real beef dripping, not vegetable oil, Liza considered having their static moved to this site.

Our final guests were newly weds Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones. Here you see them dressed up ready for a night in the site's club. This newly built complex has a nightclub with cabaret, adult pub and family cabaret bar. Catherine decided to settle for the family bar, and who could blame her with a £200 prize for full house in Bingo. On the way to the pub they passed the luxurious swimming pool, arcade, shop, tennis courts, sauna and bowling green. They wished that they could stay a few days longer to make full use of all the facilities, but they had to fly back to America the following day. However, since it was only a short trip to Humberside airport, Michael found time to play a round of golf on the site's 9 hole golf course.
